GoldFish have been making music since releasing their first album back in 2006, “Caught in the Loop.” The duo is constantly changing up their style, and this album shows their range and variety quite well. The title track, “Late Night People,” brings you back to the early days of electric music, with a cool, old school, hip hop hook. By the fourth song, the album takes a significantly different turn, and they get into a deep horn section in “If I Could Find,” which almost feels inspired by an artist they have worked with in the past, Klingande.
Through the album, the music changes often. Several songs featuring different instruments make you well aware of their versatility. Coming off a full spring and summer of festivals, they have been receiving outstanding reviews on their sets. Playing festivals like Ultra Miami, Nocturnal Wonderland, and We Are Electric have solidified them as a force in the dance music scene.
