Cimo Fränkel has just released his much-anticipated new single “Gamble”. The infectious track is dripping with 80’s-inspired funk beats and sing-along vocal melodies. Cimo Fränkel is now embarking on his first ever solo project following his role in the music industry for over a decade. He has been releasing a series of his own singles since February 2017. Fränkel has collaborated with exceptional artists such as Cheat Codes, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Jay Jawson, and Yellow Claw in the past.
I have been going back and forth about writing a 90’s Swingbeat record with new flavours for years. After developing myself as a producer for my own songs I’ve finally been able to make it work. It is very much inspired by the new pop climate as well as the 90’s happy R&B culture.
The prolific artist has a track that went double platinum and another that has garnered over 120 million YouTube views and almost 500 million Spotify streams so far. Cheat Codes and Kriss Kross Amsterdam’s “Sex”, that went gold in the USA and also won a National Buma Award. Cimo Fränkel also collaborated with EDM superstar Armin van Buuren on his track “Strong Ones”. The track has nearly 5 million YouTube views and supported him at multiple sold-out arena shows.

Cimo Fränkel grew up surrounded by music, finding himself visiting the studio from a young age. His funk-musician father encouraged him to get involved with the DIY side of music and funk culture. As early as 15 years old, Fränkel began learning the ropes of music production and getting involved in music projects. He then went on to work with acclaimed labels such as Spinnin’ Records and Armada, gaining over 6 million views on YouTube. He was also involved in collaborations with internationally acclaimed artists including Daddy’s Groove, Wildstylez, and EDX.
