SANTA CRUZ MUSIC FESTIVAL 2018: LINEUP AND SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT

Santa Cruz Music Festival is coming back to the streets of Santa Cruz, California, March 10th and 11th 2018.

Euphoric and Pacific Wave have teamed up once again for the event. Only with a short break in 2016, the festival has been consistently live and kicking since 2013. Euphoric started up in 2010 while the other sponsor, Pacific Wave, one of Santa Cruz’s favorite surf and skate shops, has been open since 1993 on Pacific Avenue, in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz.

This city-wide multi-venue festival has set the bar high in the past, with eclectic line-ups featuring headliners such as G Jones, Louis the Child, Emancipator, and Far East Movement.

THE 2018 LINEUP

Now, in 2018 Santa Cruz Music Festival welcomes Mr. Carmack, MIJA, K?D, Sacha Robotti, Of The Trees, and Clozee to the spotlight.  Of course, you can’t miss  LA-based 22-year-old Dirtybird sensation Justin Jay and his Fantastic Voyage.

Mr. Carmack (Aaron Carmack) born and raised in San Francisco, is expected to bring some fire to SCMF.  Performing on five continents the past two years, he seems to be in his prime. We’ll have the pleasure to see him at SCMF and festivals like Beyond Wonderland, Bonnaroo, and more this summer.

Mija, the L.A. based OWSLA genre-mashing DJ/Producer will also be taking over the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, on Sunday evening of the festival. She DJ’s it all and produces it all. Mija’s music ranges from bass loaded bangers to house to deep.

Sacha Robotti, another L.A. based producer, is a Dirtybird Records mainstay. His recent collaboration, “Pimp Da Hose“, with Will Clarke was heard all over Dirtybird Campout East. California loves Dirtybird, so expect an excellent turnout for Sacha Robotti and get to his set a little early if you want a good spot.

Of The Trees is bringing that bass you’ve been waiting for. Tyler Coombs, the DJ/Producer from Portland, Maine, takes the hip-hop of the east coast and adds a drop of psychedelia to create what is Of The Trees. So, if you’re down with the bass scene, then you know Coombs produces some of the most unique bass music out there.
