Haunted Fest, the go-to Halloween party destination for Columbus and Indianapolis, have announced their full lineups for this year’s event, which is set to take place on October 26th at Indianapolis’ Pavilion at Pan Am and Ohio Expo Center’s Lausche Building.
2018’s Haunted Fest will feature the best of new and old EDM key players, including future house producer Tchami, Norwegian progressive DJ Alan Walker, Porter Robinson, and up-and-coming acts GRAVEDGR and DROELOE. Local producers and silent disco acts are scheduled to be announced in the following weeks.
Zach Ruben, the co-founder of PSG, stated the following regarding the fest:
“This year’s edition of Haunted Fest is going to be a special one being our 5th Year Reunion in Columbus and our second consecutive year in Indianapolis. We have some amazing talent lined up to play one of the nation’s largest Halloween parties.”
Porter Robinson will take the main stage this year, showcasing his classic yet cutting-edge sound to Haunted Fest attendees. Porter initially rose to fame after signing a one-EP deal with Skrillex’s OWSLA label in 2011 with the release of Spitfire. The EP grew to have so much demand that it crashed the servers of a prominent online retailer. In 2016, Porter released his debut album, Worlds, and developed a new live show featuring live singing, synths, and triggering samples. Plans have been put in place to bring this awe-inspiring live production to Haunted Fest this year.
Also heading the bill for Haunted is future house innovator Tchami. Best known for his work with fellow French DJ Malaa and tracks such “Promesses”, “After Life”, and “Prophecy”, this producer continues to drive dance music forward with his mix of core electronic beats and upbeat sounds and textures.
Joining the lineup in addition to Porter and Tchami is producer Alan Walker. At just 18, Walker signed to Sony Music following the success of his first hit, “Faded”, which entered the Top-10 charts in many countries. Since then, Walker continues to release international hits such as “Alone”, “All Falls Down”, and “Tired”.
“…we wanted to put together a lineup of artists who are moving the needle and are furthering the electronic music genre,” stated Jordan Canada, Jordan Canada, Director of Operations for Prime Social Group. “We believe we achieved that, and are excited for this year’s attendees to experience these incredible artist’s performances!”
Haunted Fest was first hosted in 2014 at the Columbus Convention Center. In 2015 the festival reemerged at its new home at the Ohio Expo Center. Since then, the event has expanded to other markets like Indianapolis.
Tickets for Haunted Fest are now on sale and start at $40.00. GA, VIP, and VIP tables are all available for purchase via the official website. The event is 18+ and indoors. Check out last year’s recap video here.
