This year’s Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) takes place on October 18-22 2017. ADE has become the biggest business conference for the electronic dance music scene. This conference is the place to be for upcoming musical trends and talent.
In 2016, ADE conference had 550 speakers and 7000 delegates that attended. Over 2,200 artists performed at 120 venues throughout Amsterdam and attracted 375,000 visitors from all over the world.
This forward-looking and liberal-minded country also has a healthy club scene with venues specializing in house music, hip-hop and techno thriving throughout the country.
There are some elite artists participating this year including; Boys Noize, DVS1, Gary Newman, Surgeon, Lady Starlight, Oliver Heldens, Tiga, Soulwax.
‘Art for social change’ is this year’s central theme of the conference track on innovation, sustainability and social change with speakers including Pussy Roit’s Nadya Tolokonnikova.
